The Island’s Largest Garden Fair is back this September, offering a unique chance to see many of the Island's animal attractions in one place! While known for its high-quality nurseries and gardenalia stalls, Wolverton Manor Garden Fair also welcomes many furry and feathered friends each year.
Wolverton’s ‘Hare Garden’ is a hidden gem where you can see the delightful West Wight Alpacas. The Falconry Experience will display their beautiful birds of prey and provide live demonstrations.
We have Ability Dogs 4 Young People’s demonstrations running throughout the day alongside Barking Mad’s agility shows. Nearby, Snostoppin’ Huskies offer children the chance to enjoy ‘hugging a huskie’.
We are excited to announce the return of our beloved IOW Poultry tent!
Local obedience group Barking Mad will host a fun dog show featuring categories such as ‘Handsomest Mutt’, ‘Best Bad Hair Day’, ‘Dog Who Looks Most Like Its Owner’, and the crowd favorite ‘Waggiest Tail’. The dog show starts at 3:15 PM each day in the Country & Moat Field.
Wolverton Manor Garden Fair is a dog-friendly event. Feel free to bring your furry friends as long as they are kept on a lead, but please take extra care in the Hare Garden due to the presence of many local animals.
The fair offers fun and entertainment for the whole family with live shows, re-enactments, children’s activities, and displays running throughout the days, alongside over 170 garden and craft exhibitors showcasing their wares.
For a full itinerary and exhibitor list, check the IOW Observer’s edition released on Friday, September 30th.
